Oatmeal! By now you must have noticed that this is a staple food here at the Your Super Office :D We just can't get enough! And we love to play around with different flavour combinations, from chocolate to matcha... there's a recipe for everybody's liking.
Today we want to share this delicious and easy Carrot Cake Oatmeal recipe, which is just perfect for fall! Comforting, warm and with a lot of delicious spices.
Our Plant Protein mix adds a good amount of protein to keep you full longer and provide your body with all the essential amino acids. Try it – it really is finger lickin' good (for you)!
CARROT CAKE PROTEIN PORRIDGE
SERVES 1 | VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Plant Protein mix
- 1 large carrot (grated)
- 100g of oats
- 250ml water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
- toppings (optional)
Directions:
- Combine all of the ingredients (except the Plant Protein mix) in a small pot.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring often to prevent burning or sticking.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Plant Protein mix.
- Pour into a bowl and add toppings, if desired, and serve.
